Of Music and Men [the short film] is based on the scripted half-hour series of the same title where we follow Kenya Shaw–a chronically single 20-something, trying to understand the opposite sex while struggling to succeed running her own independent record label–through a day in her life that is no walk in the park; rather, it’s a long, arduous journey through the frigid, unforgiving streets that make up her home town, as she works to get just one step closer to building a music conglomerate… and maybe, just maybe, meeting Mr. Right.
